The leaders of Hamas from Gaza launched a hunt Friday for al-Qaeda-inspired human Islamist militants killed an Italian activist, in a murder which pointed out the faces of Hamas difficulties controlling factions even more radicalized in the blockade of the band.

They found his body, and the apartment was empty. A statement by police said his body had "signs of strangulation and hanging around his neck," and marks of handcuffs on the hands and marks of blows on his face.

It was the first this kidnapping with murder of a stranger in the Gaza Strip since the Hamas militant group took power in the coastal territory Mediterranean small in 2007. It highlights the challenge that the Hamas supported by the Iran - a group with a militant Islamic ideology which is considered as a terrorist organization by the United States the European Union and Israel - faces of smaller factions in Gaza who see too pragmatic.

They are especially on the part of the Salafi movement grew throughout the Middle East, preaching the ultra-conservative Islamic that strictly separates the sexes and vehemently reject everything except a strict interpretation, lasts from the Islamic Shariah. Some, including the Group apparently behind the removal of the Arrigoni, are inspired by al-Qaeda and actively call switch the Jihad, or holy war against those perceived as enemies of Islam.

They oppose the Hamas not to respect the strict Islamic law and still adhere to cease-fire with Israel.

Ibrahim Ahmed, Professor of political science at the University of Gaza and an expert on Islamic groups, told the Associated Press Salafi Gaza only a few hundred members of the list, but always a threat for Hamas.

"The problem with these groups, is that they recruit young people who see Hamas compromising with Israel," said Ahmed. "They are a relatively new phenomenon that has emerged in Gaza after the Israeli withdrawal in 2005." He said the only way for Hamas reversing the tide is brave critics, considered radical and recruits "rehabilitate".
