The top Cop in Kandahar killed by Bombardier

A suicide bomber disguised as an Afghan army uniform Saturday a full vest of explosives at the entrance to a base in the East of the Afghanistan, killing five coalition and four Afghan soldiers, said the officials.


The explosion also wounded four Afghan soldiers and four translators, according to the Ministry of defence spokesman Afghan General Mohammad Zahir Azimi.


The Taliban claim responsibility for the attack.


Azimi, said the attacker approached on foot and detonated his explosives at about 7: 30 at the entrance of the base.


"The attacker was the Afghan security forces uniforms and who gave him the opportunity to arrive at the entrance of the base and carry out the attack" Azimi said.


NATO has refused to release more information about the service members killed pending notification of relatives.
